Lil Tecca
Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharpe was born
August 26 in 2002. He is also known as Lil Tecca. His fame exploded with the
release of his 2019 single "Ransom" which was a top 4 hit on the
Billboard Hot 100. The track was also featured on his debut mixtape Love You
Tecca (2019) which peaked at number 4 on the US Billboard 200. The mixtape also
included the two singles "Love Me" and "Did It Again". His
debut studio album"Virgo World" (2020) was released at #10 on the
Billboard 200 and included the Billboard Hot 100's top-charting tracks
"Dolly" and "When You Down". His second mixtape, We Love
You Tecca 2, was released in August 2021 and included "Repeat It" and
"Lot of Me". Tyler-Justin Anthony sharpe was the child of Jamaican
immigrants. He was born August 26 2002 in Queens, New York City. He was raised
in the Springfield Gardens a neighborhood of Queens and later moved to
Cedarhurst in Long Island. From an early age, Sharpe had aspirations of being a
part of the NBA, but around 12 years old Sharpe turned his attention towards
pursuing a career in music. He was a student at Lawrence High School. Tecca was
nine years old age when he started rapping on his Xbox. One of their diss
tracks was uploaded to SoundCloud some time ago, but has since been removed. At
beginning, he didn't have plans to begin a musical career and instead dreamed
of becoming an NBA star. In his middle school years however, he began to become
bored with basketball and began to take music seriously. His first single,
"Tectri", which was a hit in early 2017 was produced with the help of
Lil Gummybear. His other tracks comprise "Callin" as well as
"Tectri". His hit single "Ransom," which was first uploaded
to Cole Bennett's Lyrical lemonade YouTube channel on May 22 of 2019, began the
meteoric rise of Tecca. The track reached the top spot at number 4 on
Billboard's Hot 100 chart. It has received more than 90 million Spotify plays
and has more than 300 million YouTube views.
