Emma Stone
Emily Jean "Emma" Stone was
born on the 6th of November in 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona to Krista Jean Stone
(nee Yeager), a homemaker , and Jeffrey Charles "Jeff" Stone who was
a founding partner of a company that contracts and CEO. She is of Swedish, German
and British Isles descent. Stone began acting in her early years as a part of
the Valley Youth Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona, where she made her stage debut in
an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's "The Wind in the Willows". Through
her teens Stone was part of numerous shows before she made the choice to make
acting her career. The official story is that she created an PowerPoint
presentation, backed by Madonna's "Hollywood" and also titled
"Project Hollywood", in attempts to persuade parents to allow her to
quit school and relocate to Los Angeles. After the presentation was accepted,
the couple moved to LA. She continued to study at home while auditioning. Her
TV debut was when she was chosen to play Laurie Partridge on the VH1
reality/talent show In Search of the Partridge Family (2004). The show led to a
variety of minor TV roles throughout the years. Her first film role was Jules
in Superbad (2007) and following a string of success, her main part in the film
Olive in Easy A (2010) established her as a star. She attended Xavier College
Preparatory, Phoenix, Arizona. Although she's known as redhead, her actual hair
color is blonde. It was Judd Apatow who suggested she switch her hair color to
Superbad (2007) and she was so pleased with it that she chose to keep the
color. When she was 15 she persuaded her parents she could move to Hollywood.
She made this happen by creating an PowerPoint presentation entitled Project
Hollywood. Her first experience in acting at the age of 11 age in the Valley
Youth Theatre in Phoenix, AZ, where she starred in over 16 stage productions as
well as acting in the comedy improv troupe. Caylee Cowan also performed at the
